Lotus in Containers

Lotus grown in containers have worked out well this season, Here it is the middle of September and the foliage is still green.

We use gold fish in the containers to control insects and duckweed and water lettuce to

cover the water surface.

The only problem we had was some hail damage to the leaves early in the season, but our granddaughter found a use for the damaged leaves.
