People have a need for order and neatness, but large areas of bare ground mulched with brown
pine straw looks too and the process is expensive. A better option is to prune the under story.
Using motorize hedge clippers all the shrubs and herbs are cut to 2 feet. Millddle story and large trees are limbed up to 7 feet.
The result is a neat under story with dappled shade, a deep woods view, and no pine straw.
